With myq, you can connect your existing LiftMaster garage door opener that is Wi-Fi enabled or has a Powered by myQ logo. You simply download the myq app and pair it to your smartphone or device. You’ll be able to monitor, control and get backup for your garage door or gate.

You can also set up fully flexible pre-set schedules for your myQ devices, and give access to guests and co-owners with full or limited control.

With myq you’ll be able to integrate your garage door with your smart home systems like Wink, SmartThings, Nest, XFINITY Home and Apple HomeKit (with the purchase of an additional adaptor) for even more peace of mind. However, Chamberlain recently cut off API access to third-party integrations like Homebridge and Home Assistant, leaving many users without workable solutions.
